Cooking and First Aid

It is always wise to be prepared in case of an emergency. Avoiding the spread of food borne illness and good hygiene is the best way to avoid most problems. In the kitchen accidents happen. The first line of defense is knowing what can possibly go wrong and how to recognize kitchen dangers.

Know where to get a hold of a first-aid kit. This kit is useful when treating injuries such as burns, cuts and scalds that can occur in the kitchen or cooking area.

In any situation you want to know where you would move any victim where it is safe before giving any treatment.
